This is an old project that was never completed. I started capturing a painting as I made it in a sort of stop-motion animation. There are other low-fi/hi-fi at play as well - the image I'm painting in the animation is formated with widescreen proportions. But the screen painted and animated is low resolution - it has few "pixels" per side. In capture, the settings were at a higher resolution to capture more information. Lastly, these high definition type of images were reduced in size and formated into animated GIF format which creates a web-based low definition animation.

talking about Grid:Current tomorrow
will hit on the recent discoveries I've made as to the purpose/nature of the grid I've been working within... this presentation will be an important test of the solidity of these constructs in my consciousness.

no newz = good newZ

Just finished the first of a series of camouflage inspired code paintings. It's a top secret project the grid has me exploring. How does text look if it is color based as opposed to characters? Can we learn to read color as if it were a book?

a bad image of what that sort of system could look like.
